Officially Dead

Rule34 Brothel is officially dead. I've come a long way since I started with this project, but now I think it's time to stop pretending that I'm going to keep updating this thing. This is the final version of this game. I will probably move onto a new project soon though. I now know a lot more about programming, so hopefully I will be able to make a more streamlined, easier to play game that actually has some element of challenge to it. Check back every once in a while, maybe there will be something new showing up.

    I'm sad to hear this but I'm glad you are letting everyone know and not just silently smothering the project behind everyone's back. What ever you do I hope you have success with and enjoy it. Thanks for the game and take it easy.

    Do you think you'll be able to release the source code so that someone else might pick up where you left off? It's a shame to see this go, but I'm glad that you're moving on to something new rather than quitting altogether.

    Shame you're stopping, because it was an enjoyable game.
    Glad you're moving on to things you think are more worth your time.

    Pity, I rather enjoyed it, as far as brothel sim games go. About the only negative point I had was the lack of save feature. The amount and variety of girls was good, even if there were only a few pics per girl. I hope that you come back to it sometime.

    I'd like to start by saying thank you very much for making a game worth playing! i thought the original sim brothel game was great, but this is like 100x better!!! Sadly i havent looked around much since playing that one over at newgrounds came out so long ago, and was the first sim game i tried. I did do a quick search after trying it but only found completely different sim games. anyway i agree with poster above (no save feature) but the game was alot of fun to play anyway. Good luck in your other endevores

    Fans of Rule34 Brothel should take a look at Free Cities (http://freecitiesblog.blogspot.com/). It's shaping up to be the Dwarf Fortress of ero management sims, No pictures, but I find I don't miss them with such detailed and varied slaves. It's in alpha, so expect occasional breakage and balance WTFery, but FC Author's pretty good about bugfixin'. No furry content, toggleable extreme shit like amputation and other multilations.
