V 0.16a and Possible Game Balance Changes

Here's a quick update to the game, fixing bugs that were found by Carp.

Also a new poll is posted. I have found that it is often frustrating to get girls to gain experience in buildings that also contain higher level girls. This is because of the way the game handles generated clients. Clients are generated by each girl individually, then added to a pool of clients for that building. I thought this would be more realistic than previous simbrothel games, which tend to have all girls generate discreet pools of clients individually. I could make Rule34 Brothel work this way with only a small amount of modifications, but I want to know if you guys think the current system adds to the game. Please vote in the new poll, and I will either change or not change the client system based on your answers.

  1. Good call on the balance changes in regards to clients. It would also be great if girl prices were handled a little bit better. Currently the game sets prices way too high after a level up, which leads to frustration as you have to constantly tweak down the prices to ensure a full pool of clients for each girl. I would much prefer if instead there was a mass price change slider of some sort, which one could drag to set the price of all girls to a certain percentage of their listed cost. So instead of fiddling with individual settings you could just set the price of the entire brothel at 50% suggested price if you want more clients or 500% if you want more money.

  2. Starter girls other than the one chose still unavailable for acquisition despite the "girls owned" mission seemingly taking thme in consideration.

    Traits could use more numbers and variety IMHO, as coding permits.
    Maximum client number should exceed the 4 client treshold through items or perhaps said trait variety.

  3. I think the client pool should stay the same, it feels right. Plus there are a few girls that have skills that generate extra clients for everyone, based on how many people are in the building. (Wii Fit girl is one)
    Putting a new girl (n00bs) in the same building as multiple maxed/mid lvl (L33t) girls, the new girl shouldn't see much or any clients.
    Manage your girls, group them in buildings by lvl or price. Putting a starting Ashley next to a maxed out Coraline, Merida and Christi should result in Ashley not getting any clients.
    Just my opinion though.

    I wouldn't mind having an option to rest all girls or at least be able to unassign them all, so you can place/group them where you want easier.

    1. The maximum of 4 clients per girl is relatively easy to achieve and items/perks that would affect it feel worthless. That's what I meant by raising the maximum client number.
      Also, the Wii Fit Trainer perk is an example of what I meant when I said "more numbers and variety". It's pretty cool, if it actually works, since I didn't give it much testing.
