About the art

EDIT: I believe I have finally fixed the mission assignment system. I simplified most of the code and rewrote about half of it, so if the issue persists I will have to look for the cause elsewhere. I know that this is impossible during the first mission assignment, so the only way to tell if the game is still broken is by playing it, which is what you guys do (hopefully).

A large portion of the criticism I have received has been about the quality of the pictures I chose to include in the flash. I chose pictures because they mostly had the girls fucking a nondescript male/taking a cumshot. I did this to promote a brothelesque atmosphere in the game where the girls fuck a different guy every day. However, this severely limits the choices I have of pictures as most are drawn with characters from the same series fucking, as opposed to random dudes. A lot of the really good rule 34 pictures are of two characters from the same series, thus limiting the quality of the pictures in the game. I was thinking about switching the focus to quality and forgoing the self imposed restrictions, but I want to know what you guys think. There's a poll on the right.

Also, I think I have fixed a few bugs pertaining to the mission system where it would call you a faggot instead of giving you a new mission. If this keeps happening, tell me in the comments or something.

V0.9 Perks

The perks system is now implemented. Next is the item system. I am thinking about not adding a random event system because I felt that it added essentially nothing to the original game. I may take the time to figure out how to make it so that it does add to the game, but it will be very different from the original meaningless events and the ones that disabled buildings for a few days. Girls can still only reach level 6, but I added more buildings, meaning there are now way more rooms acquirable than there are girls acquirable, so I will add multiple girls soon.

Progress Report

Since I get about 20 page views a day now I think I ought to at least tell you guys how its all been going. I've finally been able to sit down and make some progress on the perks system, though not much. I have thought up a framework for it, but it has yet to be implemented because I need to think of perks and their effects first. So I've been doing a bit of that. If you want to suggest a perk and an effect for a girl, go ahead. It'll probably end up in the game if it is doable and the way I'm setting it up it will be possible for every girl to have unique abilities, if I wanted to take the time to think of them all.

First a girl has two traits which are based on her characteristics such as appearance, personality, or abilities. For example Gwen will have the "Loli" and "Magic" traits. Each trait has three perks associated with it. These perks effect the girls performance or stats in some way when activated and can be turned on and off, though I'm having a bit of trouble with the off part. They will cost Action Points to activate, just as they did in the last game, and a girl will gain 1 AP for every 10 clients she sees. An example perk is Telekinesis which increases a girls Handjob score by one every day.

That's where I'm at, the only really difficult part is going to be coming up with all the different traits and perks, so again feel free to suggest anything. I'll probably use it.
